Always keep one eye on the players at the table. Become a student of watching people. Be looking for anything that tips off what the other players might be thinking or feeling. One tool that is never given enough credit in poker is that when it is cheap enough you should sometimes call down your opponent even if you believe that you are holding the losing hand. This information can be of great use to you if you plan on sitting at the same table with the same players for a few hours or more.

Playing poker should be looked at like a war. You are not here to have fun, you are here to make money. You do not want to bring attention to yourself in anyway. Try to be in total stealth mode and stay under everyones radar. You want to stay low key and be in constant attack mode.

When playing a game of poker look for players who like to just call and check every hand. When you encounter one of these types of players do not give them any room to breathe. This type of player likes to play less then premium hands and if you do not attack them hard you run the risk of them out drawing you.
