    1. Aspen - This resort is located in Pitkin Country, Colorado and is situated not far from the town where its name comes from. The resort is situated between two mountains, to the North is Aspen Mountain and to the South is Bell Mountain. Yet although it may be one of the smallest skiing resorts in Colorado it is popular because of the quality and smoothness of the snow on its slopes.

    2. Snowmass - This resort is much larger than Aspen and covers an area of around 3,000 acres. Along with having great slopes for those who are just learning to ski there are those which offer more of a challenge to those who have experience.

    3. Copper Mountain - This is a very large resort made up of numerous others and is located in Summit County and of the many resorts around is one of the ones that will be recognized by skiers from around the globe. Because of its size this resort offers many types of slopes for those who are complete novices through to those who have considerable amounts of skiing experience.

    The locations that make up this resort include Beaver Creek where every year World Cup Alpine Skiing events take place, Vail which is the sister resort of Beaver Creek. Also you have Wolf Creek which is world renowned for the amount of snow that is produced on its slopes each year.
