Charlie "Tremendous" Jones began his career in insurance in his early 20's. Within one year, he was awarded a Most Valuable Associate Award, and within ten years, he received the company's highest management award. He later went on to start his own consulting business, Life Management Services.

Aside from his insurance success, Charlie Jones has also written nine books, most notably "Life Is Tremendous", and he is also one of the nation's foremost speakers on motivation and leadership. Charlie's real passion, though, is that of helping people less fortunate than himself, especially children. Children are invited to his house every day of the year to celebrate "Christmas" complete with presents and carols.

The story doesn't stop there. Charlie is also a self-proclaimed expert on marriage relationships. After marrying someone who is completely his opposite and sticking by her side for 60 years, Charlie has learned a thing or two about the difference between love and commitment. Women need men who are going to hold them close through good times and bad no matter what.

What makes you different from the person you'll be in five years, according to Charlie Jones, is the books you've read and the people you've met. Each of us is nothing more than what our experiences have taught us to be. The more you learn, the more you can become. Charlie encourages people to read just as he has always done.

So, what makes Charlie Jones a "Tremendous" Charlie Jones? It's a nickname that embarrasses him, actually. When someone buys a new car or has a new baby, the first word out of Charlie's mouth is, "Tremendous!" People started calling him Tremendous and the name stuck.

Charlie doesn't particularly like being called Tremendous, because it sounds like something you would call a football player or wrestler. He would rather be called something like "Learning Jones" or "Thankful Jones". He's a sincere person who loves learning and loves helping others. He wants nothing more than to pass on those passions to others.

Charlie Jones grew up as a poor boy in the 1930's. Back then, everyone was poor. His parents didn't go to church, but they sent their kids to Sunday school alone. Charlie's faith in God was born through the love of his teacher. Today Charlie brings poor children to his home, which is actually a large estate, and entertains them with an amusement park, hot dogs, sno-cones, and Christmas carols year-round.

If you're not a Christian, don't feel as if you need to water down your faith in the presence of Charlie Jones. He will never compromise his beliefs, and he expects no less of the people he meets. He believes everyone has the right and responsibility to look inside their heart and decide what is truth. He loves all people regardless of religion.
