If you are involved in a romantic relationship you should be prepared for all possibilities, including the end of your romantic relationship. After the relationship comes to an end you will have to figure out how you are going to continue with your life. You can either move on with your life or you can figure out how to win back your ex girl.

The first thing to do is keep communicating with her - if you aren't talking there is no chance of getting back together. By discussing the problems of the past you can avoid these same issues now. You also can discuss where both or you see the relationship going in the future.

Looking back over the relationship, it's a good idea to consider why the relationship went sour before you can begin to attempt to put it back together again. As ideas and feelings and issues are brought up, you will be better prepared to address them.

Think about it - if she was unhappy about things before is she going to be ready to start up the relationship again without an expectation of change? The first thing she will want is for you to work on the things that went wrong.

One helpful way of starting the getting back together process would be to begin with self-honesty. Along with being willing to compromise at times, you will also need to be able to comprehend what she is saying and has been saying about her emotions.

All relationships, in order to be successful, require compromise at one time or another. A willingness to deal with whatever needs to be dealt with on your part may help you get back with your ex girl because she will see that you are serious about working things out, individually and collectively. Of course, it is difficult to predict what other people will or will not do, and there is no certainty that anything you do will bring the reunification you seek, especially if her feelings towards and for you are not the same as your feelings for and towards her. But compromise and working through issues are what make a relationship successful.

In order to make the relationship successful you can ask different family members for their advice and guidance. Even though this is a good plan keep in mind that sometimes you will not like the advice that you are receiving. If you are able to recognize that some of these perceptions are actually true then you can decide which direction you should go in next.

All this effort should get your ex girlfriend appreciate your efforts. By looking at the problems of the past and being willing to work on them you will be able to work on an even better relationship the next time.

Hopefully you will be able to rectify these mistakes when you figure out what went wrong the first time around. The next time may be the relationship that will transform your life forever. With some help and guidance you will be able to avoid making the same mistakes that spoiled your previous relationship. Hopefully, your ex girl will become your girlfriend once again.
