There are many ways to flirt with girls, but they all fall into three main categories.

You can take the initiative and just say something flirty.

You can wait for them to do something or say something that you have a pre-planned response for.

And you can bait them into doing something that will set up one of your pre-planned responses.

Now, let's look at some specific ways you can do these things:

TAKING THE INITIATIVE: Call her a name jokingly. Look at her funny. Be a little cocky. Active flirting is fun, but it's a little more risky early on in an encounter. It puts your intentions "out there", so you have to be pretty sure of the situation to engage in proactive flirting.

TRIGGER BANTER: Trigger banter is basically this: you wait for a situation to happen. For instance, she could say or do something. then you deliver a flirty line that you've already prepared for situations like this. You can also just respond to her spontaneously. But it's easier to be prepared. Here's an example. Suppose she bends down to tie her shoe near you. You could say "Oh, you don't have to bow down before me like that. There are other ways to show your appreciation [smile]". The downside is that she doesn't always say or do things that match your pre-planned responses.

SET-UP FLIRTING: Of course, if you want to look spontaneous, and you don't want to wait for a girl to say or do something you have a pre-planned response for, you can always bait her into doing something that will set up a flirty response. For instance, you could bait her into bragging about herself by asking her a question like "so, what makes you so special?" Then let her brag. And then hit her with your pre-planned bragging banter line.
