Like countless other Americans I have been following the recent political developments exhaustingly. However I have been focusing on one question over the last couple of weeks. That question being
Obama's VP choice.
Now there have been many names thrown out there including. Hilary Clinton, Joe Biden, some other lady that looks like the villian off of 101 dalmations, Bill Richardson, Al Gore, a few other people not worth mentioning and General Wesley Clark. Any of these people could be VP. They are all probably capable of doing the Job.
The question becomes, which of these people will shore up Obamas weaknesses. There by getting him votes. This all becomes a question of who you ask. Latinos will tell you that Bill Richardson gives Obama a winning ticket. Most advid Hillary supporters say the same about Hillary. Though a big question that many people are not asking is the most important question. Which of these Candidates does the most to win over the white working class voter that Obama has had so much trouble with. Hillary it seems did much better then Obama with the working class voter. However most people seem to agree that Obama doesnt want a Bill Clinton hanging around the White House. Obama still needs to woo Hillarys supporters though. So what about Richardson? This choice may have made sense at one time, but seeing how many of Hillarys supporters feel cheated by him over the timing of his endorsement of Obama. Richardson might do some
damage to those much needed Hillary Supporters. So who does Obama Pick? He needs someone that has enough experiance in National Defense and Security. Someone who has Foreign Policy Exp. But at the same time wins over that working class voter along with Hillary's Supporters.
There is one man who meets all of these requirements, General Wesley Clark. General Clark not only plays to all of Obamas weaknesses. He also just happens to be in good with the Hillary suppporters, but wait thats not all. Wesley Clark also helps obama in key states like VA, Ark, NC, PA, OH. Watch these developments closely. This General shores up one strong ticket. McCain will have to counter this with a Huckabee ticket, in order to compete in states that Obama will be dominating in. So in closing, get ready for a Vice President Clark. Theres no better way to get white racist voters to vote Obama then with a blue eyed, white haired, retired general.
