Lately Ron Paul has been very out spoken about his Non-support of John McCain and
almost in the same breath been praising Bob Barr the Libertarian Presidential Candidate.
So maybe this isnt such a big surprise right. Well, thats only partly true. Many experts
didnt know if Paul woud support any candidate. Since Ron Paul is technically a republican
or at least he ran on the republican ticket. This is veiwed as a party shift. Many Republicans
are not happy with a John McCain candidate. A recent Poll showed that nearly fiftey percent of
Republicans are not happy with John McCain getting the Republican Nomination.
So what does this have to do with Ron Paul? and Bob Barr? Well quite possibly alot,
many conservative republicans are now threatining to cross party lines and vote for
Bob Barr as they see as a conservative alternative to a more moderate John McCain.
If Ron Paul does officially endorse Bob Barr, this will spell big trouble for the GOP.
Not only does Ron Paul have a large following. Ron Paul may create a wave through
the republican party that could threatin to splinter the party. If other disinfranchised
conservative republicans followed suite inspired by Ron Paul. Watch this closely,
this could be big trouble for the GOP.
