As one of many women across the globe going through the process of divorce can place incredible stress on ones mental well being. A good lawyer will explain everything to you in detail and let you know your options; he won't let you get surprised.
4) If you have any life or accident insurance policies then arrange with the companies to get a new beneficiary placed on these. A lot of women forget about these documents and this means that the money goes to completely the wrong person, rather than who it should be going to rightfully. Also you need to spend time ensuring that all your tax returns are now in order.
