What is drop-shipping, you ask? Well, it's like having free products to sell online. You advertise the products on your website. When the customer places an order, you advise the wholesaler or manufacturer, who then ships the product directly to the customer.

Isn't that amazing? Now, I know affiliate marketing programs are popular. In affiliate marketing, you recommend certain products to a select list of clients; email auto responder programs make this easy so you save time and money. That email includes an "affiliate link" when your customer clicks on the link, they are whisked away to a website that sells that particular product. If the customer buys it, you get a commission.

But a lot can go wrong. The customer may not make it to that site. Also, you have no control over what that site looks like, or changes made to that site or how your customer will navigate around on that site. The biggest problem is the fact that you are not collecting the money to ensure you get paid!

Drop-shipping, on the other hand, saves you money, while letting you retain complete control over your own website. You have no shipping costs, no inventory to store or count. It's as close as you can get to having free products to sell online! Just think of what you could sell using drop-shipping:
