Writing Articles and having them published can be a great step.
First thing you need to know is that there not all equal.

Most have different rules on what types of articles they will accept.
So be sure the directory you post to is about your content.
Also be sure that your have a good summary about what your article is about.

The worst thing you can do is put all the hard work into writing and not get your content approved.
Be sure you've taken the steps required before you set out to write.

Research your topic of choice for sure.
Use the internet for ideas if you get stuck on what to write.
Be sure your writing is unique and of quality.
Nothing worse than making your content just to find out that it does you no good.

Directories also have word quotas.
Some Article Directories will accept content as long as it's over 250 characters.
Some will not.

Know all of the places that your submitting to before you submit.
Shot for Articles that are 300 words and over.
Keep in mind there are a few out there that won't accept under 500 words.
So keep all of these important things in mind.

Remember that you are Internet Marketing each Article.
It's unique to get you traffic thats imperative to you and your website.
The higher the quality, The bigger the traffic return.

Also be sure that you don't post to No Follow directories.
These are directories that don't give you a live link.
Live link means a proper link back to your site from theres.
In sense what we call a backlink.

As will you when your site makes top pages in these engines.

Search engines and traffic are the real reasons that you are writing these quality pieces.
