First, find something you like. If you have a hobby that can become a business you will have a job that you love that can last a lifetime. If you don't find something like that, then connect your new venture with what you want to get out of life. This will give you the focus and drive needed to succeed on your own.

In many network marketing, plans people will be buying products monthly, for which you receive commissions. The reason this works is that the company doesn't advertise in any conventional ways. They pay you for finding customers. Then there are also commissions paid for the customers your customers sign up, etc., etc.

If you don't feel you are a good face to face salesperson, selling online might be perfect for you. People will order from your website, and you will fill the orders. One of the most incredible things about selling online is the your store is open all day, every day.

If you really have the desire to be your own boss working at home, you have a good start. If you succeed you will be able to leave the 9 to 5 world. You should make more money, but if you make the same, working less hours and from home will make it very worthwhile.
