They are not going to waste a lot of money on a plan that might flop. So go ahead and find a type of business you want to build and look for those in your industry that are having the success you want. Then follow the plan they have already laid out for you. But of course never, I mean never copy someone's business word for word and get yourself into legal trouble. If you are ever in doubt, seek legal advice to stay out of trouble. If you observe that the person you are modeling does this and because of it he or she makes a lot of sales, then it would be great to also do it.
