Leading Actors Are Now Slimming Down Instead of Bulking Up
Remember when Hollywood's action stars were massively muscular? Back in the 80's when Arnold Schwarzenegger was Hollywood's leading man, bodybuilding became mainstream for a short period of time. It led to a whole generation of guys who wanted to gain as much muscle as possible. It has been over 20 years since Terminator came out, and yet the fitness industry still feels the impact of that movie.
Massive Muscles Were Cool in 1985, But Cheesy in 1995
Ever watched a soap opera. Although I think they are terrible, they aren't made for me they are made for women. Have you ever seen a large bodybuilder type guy as one of the actors in a soap opera? The answer is no! Women are attracted to lean and slim guys who look great in and out of clothes. Women just aren't attracted to massive guys for the most part.
1999, the Year Fight Club Came Out, Was The Official Death of the Massive Look
Although women have been telling men for years that they don't like the massive look, most of the male population didn't buy it for some reason. Brad Pitt's character, Tyler Durden, finally opened many guys eyes to what women have been telling us for years. Tyler Durden was a guy's guy, but women found him sexy as well. Brad Pitt showed us that ripped men who could wear funky clothes were more impressive than awkward looking massive actors. Women love this combination, but Fight Club was a movie that really drilled this message home to men as well.
Since the late 90's, Many Hollywood Actors Have Begun to Slim Down
Have you followed the career of Will Smith. He went from skinny, to very muscular for a few of his roles. For the movie I am Legend, Will Smith has slimmed down considerably. He now looks better than ever and I doubt he will ever go for that bulky look again. What about Johnny Depp? He actually got somewhat bulky back in the days of 21 Jump Street. After that was over he slimmed down substantially and women now find him one of the sexiest men in Hollywood. Can you imagine him in Pirates of the Caribbean the size of Arnold Schwarzenegger? He would look stupid!
Are You Stubborn and Still Trying To Get Massive?
Want to look terrible in a suit or casual clothes, then aim for the bodybuilder look. Large muscles do not impress women at all. You may gain the attention from guys in the gym who are also trying to get big, but women won't give you a second glance. There are always exceptions to the rule, but those are just exceptions. You may actually want to open your eyes and observe what women find sexy. Hint, it isn't the large muscle look!
