Have you always had a dream of getting six pack abs? To some people that may seem like quite a simple dream, but to the people who don't have them, gaining them can be one of the hardest things ever. 99% of the people who desire a six pack will never get one, and its for a simple reason. The problem, is that people want instant gratification and are easily discouraged. They don't have the drive necessary to get results, to do the work that is required to reach their dreams. Setting and sticking to a routine is a very important portion of getting ripped abs. Being informed about the ways to get the abs is the other very important part, as if you aren't doing the right exercises, you wont be seeing any results.
To many people, getting shredded abs is right at the top of their priority lists, but they are going about getting them all wrong. This is because the American public has somehow convinced itself that doing thousands and thousands of crunches and sit ups will get rapid results. This is completely untrue. Getting an amazing six pack is not a one step process, it's a time consuming journey. You have to eliminate body fat to get your abs to show. You can have the best, strongest abs in the world, but if you have a layer of fat over them, people will never see them!
The key to getting a six pack is to eliminate body fat while gaining muscle. Getting the muscle isn't the hard part, getting the muscle to show is. Removing fat is one of the hardest things that a person can try to do, but always keep in mind that with persistence, anything is possible. To get rid of this unwelcome fat, one must do a ton of cardio. Getting your heart pounding for as long as possible is key. You can run, jog, box, jump rope etc to reduce the amount of body fat you have. There are many ways to increase the size of your abs, not just crunches. Weighted crunches are actually much more effective as they allow your abs to pop out faster.
There is no way I can stress doing cardio enough. The total fat loss that this provides is the only kind of fat loss. That's why people who only do crunches wont get the six pack. There is no such thing as targeted fat loss. To get muscles to show you have to reduce your total amount of body fat by as much as possible.
Determination is your key word in the weight loss game. If you are motivated to burn the fat, then you will! Its important that you stick with whatever routine you have developed for at least three weeks before evaluating its effectiveness. Getting into a routine also has the added benefit, that when you have an established routine, you are less likely to break said routine.
