Expressing what you feel is vital for maintaining your mental health. Don't be afraid to express yourself. If what you feel is negative, just make sure you express it in a fashion that isn't unnecessarily hurtful to others. Try expressing the next 10 thoughts you have to someone around you. You will be surprised that such honesty is appreciated and will actually strengthen your relationships.
Laughter will improve your mood and make you remember what it is like to feel joy again. Laughter is self-expression. Apply that to all your feelings. Express your yourself to the people around you.
