Bill Phillips is an accomplished publisher with bestselling books, magazines and documentary films under his belt. He's also an entrepreneur and inventor. His efforts have helped many people change their lives for the better, and they've made him a millionaire.

Bill's books "Body for Life" and "Eating for Life" are two of the most successful fitness books ever. Soon he'll release another book, "Transformation: A Guide to Physical and Spiritual Fitness". Bill's work is so well received that he was asked to join the American relay in 2002 to carry the Olympic Torch.

Bill has helped train celebrities like Jerry Seinfeld, Sylvester Stallone, Demi Moore, and John Elway, but that's not where his heart lies. He's happiest when helping ordinary people reach their goals for physical and spiritual fitness. He began at only age 10 helping others reach their calisthenics goals on his little league football team.

Bill Phillips isn't only an example in fitness. He's also an example in charity. Bill has won several awards and recognitions for his efforts to help others including the highest award for the Make-A-Wish Foundation, an organization that makes dreams come true for terminally ill children, and the United States Junior Chamber of Commerce's Top 10 Outstanding Young Americans.

Bill has always known that fitness is his calling. He says it's something that chose him. He didn't choose it. His love of fitness collided with America's love of body building to jumpstart his career. He thought medicine was his key to helping others. It wasn't.

When Bill Phillips was in pre-med school, he quickly realized he wasn't learning preventative medicine. He was learning how to treat the end result of things like cancer and high blood pressure - things he knew could have been prevented months or years before. To help pay for school, Bill began teaching people how to exercise, training sports members, and writing a newsletter.

It surprised Bill how successful the newsletter was. Although it was only $25 per year to sign up for a subscription, Bill was already making more money the first year of writing than he would have been if he'd been practicing medicine for five years already. His newsletter included instructions, pictures, and general information to help people reach their fitness goals.

As much as Bill Phillips focuses on physical fitness, it isn't his only passion. He also likes to focus his attention on the mental, spiritual, and emotional well being of his readers. To Bill, there is a success formula to be had between creating a valuable service and offering it in a meaningful way. It's the reason he's so successful today.
