All those who work in a job that demands working at odd hours will know the difficulties in creating a balance in their lives. They will not have any time for themselves nor will they be able to dedicate time for their personal lives. Their lives become robotic and all they seem to do is work all the time. In such cases, an outsider will find them withdrawn, very somber, and quiet when at a bar or at a party. This is not because they are introverts or are of reserved nature. It is because they don't have any energy left in them to socialize and their body has shut down completely. If a person has been working more than 18hours during work days, over the weekend they will only want to sleep. This will affect their overall health as they will eat at odd hours, not taking care of themselves and not be getting enough nutrients into their body. These are classic examples that will face hair related problems more often than others, and will resort to using one of the top ranges of hair products to control the condition.

They might use a hair spray to set their hair in place, so it does not fall or make use of a blow dryer to add some volume to their hair. All this will work for a short while, but over a period of time, and with repeated use of such devices as these, they will face severe hair loss or fall. At a young age of 25 or 26 their hair would look like their fathers', except their father would be 75 or 76 years old. This is all because of heavy use of heating or styling devices on delicate hair which will cause to it breaking up and not growing strong.

Also the various styling gels available as part of hair products also cause harm to one's hair. These gels are all made using chemicals, and petroleum jelly as the base, which is what makes hair stay in a position for long hours. Repeated use of this will drain hair of all natural elements in it leaving it dry and dull. One will also notice that there are gaps between strands and their scalp is more visible than before. An average human being is said to have around 70,000 to 100,000 strands and every month only about half an inch, so the process is actually pretty slow and so by the time you see any growth happening it could be nearly a year. In this time, if the person subjects their hair to more harmful chemicals and treatments, there is bound to be none left to worry about.

The various hair products available are meant to cater to different categories of the public, divided into hair types, hair styles, lifestyle based, and of course across price ranges. Your get what you pay for! The same applies to all aspects of our life, and so we get to choose the one's that suit our needs and budget the best. So, it is essential to use styling devices in moderation and to make sure that we care for that mop on our head as much as we care about the feet that help us walk.

While trying to style our hair, we forget that we need to protect its nutrients, which will help in hair growth. So remember to retain essential vitamins while trying out new styles even if it means taking a multivitamin.
