    Nuskin Product Review Shocking Truth

NuSkin is headquarters for anti-aging products, it is a Billion dollar and a successful Multi Level Marketing Company in over 42 Countries which has been in operation for 22 years. NuSkin started functioning in 1984 from Provo in Utah. NuSkin is able to develop many products through its scientific advances and experiments. They have a huge staff of scientist developing and testing new products.

The target market for Nuskin is top 10% richest people in Indonesia. If NuSkin is really so revolutionary, don’t you think there would be a counter at the mall. NuSkin claims their skin care products to be natural, but have you read the label on their products.

When I discovered the Napca spray used with the galvanic spa contained many harsh chemicals linked to cancer, reproductive, endocrine and other numeorous illnesses, I was shocked. I then started reading the labels on their other skin care products. Again, I was shocked at what I found.

I was already familiar with Propylene Glycol, the anti freeze ingredient, which was the ingredient that caught my attention. I then took each ingredient listed on the. Napca moisturizer recommended to use with the gels and galvanic spa device to keep face moist during the spa treatment.

I then put it to the test in the SkinDeep database online these are my findings.

Stearic Acid, may be derived from animals. From PETA's Caring Consumer: Fat from cows and sheep and from dogs and cats euthanized in animal shelters, etc. Most often refers to a fatty substance taken from the stomachs of pigs. Can be harsh, irritating.

Propylene Glycol, A cosmetic form of mineral oil found in automatic brake and hydraulic fluid and industrial anti freeze. In the skin and hair, propylene glycol works as a humescent, which causes retention of moisture content of skin or cosmetic products by preventing the escape of moisture or water. The Material Safety Data Sheet warns users to avoid skin contact with propylene glycol as this strong skin irritant can cause liver abnormalities and kidney damage.

Tocopheryl Acetate, Human skin toxicant - strong evidence.
    ,
Sodium PCA,ne or more animal studies show endocrine system disruption at high doses.

Bisabolol, One or more animal studies show respiratory effects at moderate doses (low dose studies may be unavailable for this ingredient)

Allantoin, This ingredient may be derived from animals. From PETA's Caring Consumer: Uric acid from cows, most mammals. Also in many plants (especially comfrey). In cosmetics (especially creams and lotions)

Retinyl Palmitate, One or more animal studies show reproductive effects at low doses One or more in vitro tests on mammalian cells show positive mutation results. One or more animal studies show brain and nervous system effects at high doses

Hyaluronic Acid, This ingredient may be derived from animals. From PETA's Caring Consumer: A protein found in umbilical cords and the fluids around the joints. Used in cosmetics. Alternatives: synthetic hyaluronic acid, plant oils.

Ceteareth-20, One or more animal studies show brain and nervous system effects at moderate doses One or more animal studies show skin irritation at low doses

Butylene Gylcol, One or more animal studies show sense organ effects at moderate doses (low dose studies may be unavailable for this ingredient

Triethanolamine, Limited evidence of carcinogenicity, Int'l Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) - Carcinogens

Disodium EDTA, One or more animal studies show brain and nervous system effects at low doses, RTECS®- Nippon Yakurigaku Zasshi 1956

Phenoxyethanol, One or more in vitro tests non-mammalian cells show positive mutation results, RTECS®- Microbios 1980

Methylparaben, One or more in vitro tests on mammalian cells show positive mutation results, RTECS®- Mutation Research 1979

Butylparben, One or more studies show weak endocrine disruption, Byford JR, Shaw LE, Drew MG, Pope GS, Sauer MJ, Darbre PD, 2002
Iron Oxides, Persistent, bioaccumulative in wildlife and humans, National Library of Medicine HazMap

There you have it, natural, I don't think so. To put it bluntly I stopped using ALL Nuskin products.

There are so many companies and products, on the market that make unsubstantiated claims about their creams, lotions and devices. Claiming to be all natural,
apparantly they think folks are so dumb they cannot read labels.

Apparantly there are billons of folks, who don't care what they rub on their face and body,

NuSkin ranks among financially stable companies with global revenues of $900 million annual Only eight network marketing companies have reached one billion dollars in sales and the rest seem to have short brilliant spurts of growth before coming crashing down and leaving people with out a pay check.

NuSkin deals in marketing of skin and hair care products through its three main divisions of Pharmanex, NuSkin, and Big Planet. NuSkin projects claims ideveloping its products from best natural elements and hence, their products are sure to yield excellent and positive results only.

Skin Deep pairs ingredients in more than 25,000 products against 50 definitive toxicity and regulatory databases, making it the largest integrated data resource of its kind. Why did a small nonprofit take on such a big project? Because the FDA doesn't require companies to test their own products for safety.

Get started at SkinDeep database to learn what's in your personal care products:

The actual cost of joining NuSkin is $35 with an annual $20 renewal fee, however this is very deceiving, as you need to move large amounts of product to qualify for profitable commissions. To remain a qualified distributor to earn any measly profitable commissions you must purchase at least $100 of product monthly.

Network marketing, multi-level marketing, direct sales, whatever you want to call it, has been around for a long time, and no one can deny the shady resemblence it has to pyramid schemes (just don’t ever say the word “pyramid” around a network marketer unless you have some time on your hands).

I’m totally against network marketing for several reasons.

Finally, I think network marketing is usually driven by people who want to make a lot of cash fast and that scares me.

Distributors are told in the distributor policy to not mention the NuSkin name in their advertising. Company also imposes various demands and quotas on distributors, which goes against their interests.

Easy income promises notwithstanding, distributors leave faster than the recruiters can bring them in.

I prefer getting loyal customers and out of those will come distributors who love the product and want to sell it. In summary, the emphasis of any multilevel program must be on product sales rather than the enrollment of new distributors.

Generally speaking,I don’t like that they depend on people’s pity, people’s desperation to make money or get rich quick and other people’s hardwork. I also believe in marketing products which are chemical free not loaded with deriatives of animal fat, anti freeze and degreasers.

To find out if your skin care products contain deadly chemicals visit the skindeep database, there you can type the ingredient in the database and find out just what you are putting on your skin and hair.

I joined Nuskin for a few months ago, to learn that their products are not what they are claimed to be and also the mlm just a lot of it.

Thinking of NuSkin, think twice. There are many wonderful natural products in the world much less pricey than the Nuskin products.
If you are looking for a home based business I definetly would not recommend Nuskin Enterprises.

As far as the Galvanic Spa goes "I love the Galvanic Spa" but that is as far as it goes with Nuskin. Just give me the galvanic spa and I will get my natural products elsewhere.
