The latter puts much focus on alternative medicine, holistic health, and herbal supplements. It teaches and experiments on integrating Eastern and Western medicine to solve problems associated with aging. The former, however, is a stickler for mind-body medicine.

    The various successes recorded in the field of anti age and life extension research would never have been realized without the bumbling mistakes of our ancestors. Some ate all sorts of hideous things, some injected solid substances into their bodies, and some just ate various animal parts. The thoughts of these make us shiver, but we really are no different today, only more sophisticated.

    Jeanne Calment was a French woman who died in 1997. She is documented as the longest living human centenarian, having lived up to 122 years old. Whatever kept her around that long could not have been any food supplements or anti aging measures. It could only have been her accepting the fact that she was old, and welcoming it.
