Have you ever thought of eating something after, during or before lighting up your Cuban cigar? Well if you have, you are not alone as a lot of people consider it one of the best ways to digest that big meal you just had. Cuban cigars make dining even finer than it already is.
If you are reaaxing for hours like most people do on the beach, than feel free to grab a longer Cuban cigar such as the Cohiba Esplendido and you will be in heaven as soon as you lit that match. My point is you don't need anything else to go with a fine Cuban cigar, but you can make that experience even better with a Scotch or some fine dinner.
So it all depends on what kind of meal you are having. If you are having strong food that is rich in taste such as Thai or Indian food, than you need a nice light to medium cigar such as the Montecristo No 4. I personally don't like Montecristo but you have to understand, my second cigar after the Fonseca was a Partagas and Cohiba Robusto.
Smoking and eating don't mix and I'll be the first to admit that. However, smoking after you eat is a beautiful thing. If you are a cigarette smoker, than you probably know how satisfying (Although a horrible habit) it can be after a big meal such as a gourmet burger. So their are some rules that you must follow because the goal here is to enjoy your cigars and your food.
If I smoke before, it must be accompanied with a nice drink. Scotch totally works in this scenario and you can even have some light wine. Moet is a very good choice as it's light and goes very well with a medium to light cigar.
I remember going to a staff party in Vancouver and smoking it on my way to this Italian place. I guess you can say it was a before meal cigar. Cigar dinners are something that lots of people are finding new and definitely fun. It's a great way to get people together and keep the party going.
