One thing that new WOW players often struggle is getting gold in order to afford gear and new abilities or spells. Making Gold can be very frustrating because without it you are playing at below optimal power for your level because your gear will be weak and because you do not have all your class abilities that make the classes powerful and fun to play. On top of that Gold is very hard to get at low levels if you do not know how to go about it. You could grind for hours and barely squeeze out even a single gold if you are not using the proper methods. Please note that this guide is meant for characters that are levels 1-20 so if you are higher that that you should look for another guide.

The first thing that you need to do is fill you your bag slots. You can buy some for a few silver or go try to get them as loot, although this is generally not worth the time it will take. 6 slots are fine, do not spend too much on 8 or 10 slots at this point

Loot is generally not worth much and you should usually just clear out all of it to a vendor. However, it is important to make sure you do not sell something that is very valuable to a vendor who will only give you a couple of silver. First check the auction house to see what the item sells for. If you can make a decent amount there put it up for sale. I always put items up for a little under the Lowest price up there. It makes your items sell fast and makes sure that your gold is not tied up in auctions that are not selling.

Your Warcraft Gold and items are a limited resource and is hard to come by even though world of warcarft gold can be earned by various ways. It is still time intensive for any player to gather the gold needed to get better gears which make advancing easier.

WoW offers almost no chance for self-improvement. While you can argue the social aspect of the game gives you a way of meeting new people or interacting with old friends, it turns out that most people when offered an anonymous mask act like drama queens and morons, so even that aspect is quite limited.

In World of Warcraft, tough to get items doesn't always mean hard to find...they could be items that people just hate to have to grind out. The dirty jobs if you will. Trust me, in the real world, there are plenty of dirty jobs out there that no one wants, but someone does and gets paid for well! Here is an idea that is used well in real world free market economies...control the market. Where have we seen this? Dell Computers, Microsoft, AT&T are all examples of conglomerates that have or had control of their markets and therefore could command or dictate a price.

This same idea can be used in World of Warcraft by finding ways to be the sole seller of an item. If you are looking to sell an item that is currently being sold for far less than it should be at an auction house, this might be an opportunity for you. If you can purchase all of those items and then re-list them at a higher price, you might be able to drive the market for some time.

If you spend a few hours using these methods you should have about 10 gold or so. This is a good amount for a low level player that will allow you to easily afford all your abilities when you level up and will also allow you to buy some very good gear. If you keep it up you will never be in need of gold until you get to higher levels.
