It is extremely frustrating to have a slow computer. This is why I went around asking how to speed up my pc. And, here are the things I have found that have worked for me.
Use a defragmenter
This software utility, that comes with Windows, will scan your hard drive and fill in th empty spots with files. What happens is your computer will start saving files in fragments, by filling the first openings on your hard drive. This means that when you start the file, you need to wait on the computer to put the program back together. A defragmenter will fix this.
Ensure you have enough memory
With the cost of computer memory being where it is today, you should put the most memory you can in your computer. If you are not sure how much it holds, just do a search online with your model number and it will tell you how much memory you can use. This will have an immediate impact in the speed of your pc.
Run a registry repair software
The registry is a place where things can go wrong in a hurry. This is the command center for your computer, and contains all of the instructions on how your software and hardware should operate. If you mess up anything in here, your computer will be extremely slow.
By using a registry repair software, you are able to scan your computer, normally for free, and see how many errors you have. Then, once you find all of the errors, the software will fix every one of these. Now, your computer should be running back at top speed.
When used in combination, these things above definitely gave me my answer how to speed up my pc.
Using registry repair software is a guaranteed way to ensure your computer runs fast. And when used on a weekly basis, it removes computer errors and speeds up your pc.
