Video games are widely spread all across the world. There is no doubt about the high quality of entertainment and satisfaction they provide to a gamer. The enthusiastic gaming fans could be grouped in three ways; 1) starters 2) seldom players 3) experts. The gamers under these three groups are bonded under one arena called: the gaming world.

In a beginner's mind questions about the actual type and what is needed to be done in the game may arise commonly and naturally. The answer to these questions may be given with patience. Questions and their level always take an uphill as the player advances in the game. At such an instance, the player is not concerned to look for a new game or a gaming console. They just want to get skilled in the game regardless of the gaming console on which he is playing.

The middle level of a gaming fan is somewhat between learning and playing consistently in the game. The gamers who fall in this category always take some time to learn new things in the game as it advances and their questions start arising about the other games they need to play. This kind of question is encapsulated with a sensation of satisfying the game and not just continuing with it.

The third group of gamers is the expert group who should not be termed as addicted gamers or something even negative for them. They are certainly not addicted. They are not of the type who wants to grab every other game in the market but they want to further develop or expand the game so that other gamers may understand their level of expertise. Playing more and more games is not their cup of tea; rather they try to translate it. They grasp the game so well enough that they try mastering the game and then publish some essays or reviews about the games and do comparisons.

Comparing a video game system is very important for these three levels of enthusiasts. This will help them master whatever they are currently into. In addition, reviews and comparisons aid other gamers in finding out which games are worth looking into and which game consoles to buy.

One may wonder as how these gamers get ideas on reviews and the tasks they perform in order to write reviews of games. There are certain methods which one follows to get a result on comparison of gaming consoles. A brief list of certain things that may be looked upon while comparing gaming consoles is given below.

Firstly, one must always try the video game himself and should continue playing it until he finishes the game. If the game is distributed in levels, then the game must be played until the last level.

One should observe the graphics, audio and other such features and abilities of the game to share with the people to read his review and should relate the physical observations to the readers.

One must provide the wholesome and necessary information to the reader through the review of the game. People always want to know about the flexibility of console, its features, when the game would be released, name, platform etc. It is always better to relate to the reader about the requirements in the system in case of PC games through the means of his own observations.

The readers must be provided with a little description of the game. In case the game is a racing game, then it must be told specifically to the readers through the review. There has been a rush of various types of PC games and video games in the market which have different abilities and some have the ability with more than one player that could play the game. These facts and news must be given in the review.

Give your opinion in the sense that they will agree with you when they will try the game you are comparing. There are so many things that you may want to point out in the game. The scoring system, the level of difficulty, the length of the game and so on, these are just examples of things that you may critic.

One must compare and contrast the particular game with some other game having the same mode of play. The game with which the game is to be compared should be a game that you are familiar with and have played before. All the points regarding strengths and weaknesses must be pointed out based on the observations of the reviewer.

Finally, there must be a well balanced result of comparison. Not only the good points of the preferred game should be added, but also the good features of the other game must be added as well. It should not be a biased conclusion.
