When is the last time you tried a new restaurant? If it has been a while you may be missing out on some delicious opportunities? I go out to lunch with a couple of friends once a week. It is our time to connect. We all have jobs and kids so it doest get to be crazy at times.

It can be hard to get yourself motivated to try a new restaurant. I generally go out to eat with friends once a week for lunch. I wouldn't have tried many of the places I have without their encouragement. Sometimes we really like the place and other times we don't. As a general rule we usually give a place two tries before we cross it off our list of places to enjoy our lunch.

It is really easy to fall into a comfort zone though when it comes to food. We know we will enjoy the experience at a particular restaurant. Why risk going some place else? We certainly don't want to pay money for a meal we didn't enjoy. We also don't want to spend time in an atmosphere that isn't comfortable for us.

If you feel loyal to particular restaurants, you aren't alone. This is often one of the top reasons why customers don't go some place else. Even if they are curious about what a new restaurant in town can offer, they just don't feel right spending their money some place else. This concept can be hard to get past but try to do it so you can expose yourself to some new dining experiences.

If you are lucky enough to live in a town where there are plenty of restaurants, start having fun with trying new ones. They may have just opened or been in business for a very long time. If you live in a small town you won't have as many to choose from but do what you can.

If you travel then use the opportunity to eat someplace new. Avoid common chain restaurants that will offer you the same thing regardless of which one of them you are dining at. It can be risky to eat at a new restaurant but think of it as a wonderful opportunity. It will allow you to be exposed to something new. If you don't like it, at least you gave it a try.

If randomly selecting a new restaurant to try doesn't appeal to you, minimize the risk involved. Take some time to ask your friends and family what they recommend. You can also go online and she what customers have to say about other restaurants. This can help you to find something new but that also serves the types of foods you like and offers the kind of atmosphere you want.

Have some fun trying out new restaurants. You can also share your experiences with other people. This can be just your friends and family or it can be with everyone by posting a review on the internet. Make eating out something thrilling once again by adding new places to your agenda.
