Victorian style decor may be perfect for your bed & breakfast. It can be a great way to transform the look into one everyone will be happy with. It isn't overdone and it isn't too trendy. It will be prefect for as long as you want to use that theme because it gets great reviews. It also won't be out of style by next year leaving you worried about what to do next.
Take your time to select the location for the bed & breakfast. If you already know you will be going with a Victorian style of decor, then try to find a location that represents that from the outside as well. Look for two story locations with large windows and unique features. Contact a good real estate agency and they can likely point you in the right direction.
Pay attention to various details as that is what will finalize your Victorian style of dcor. For example you want to focus on the doorknobs, the handles for drawers, and even the style of paintings you place on the wall. The curtains you choose to hang up will really set the mood for any given room too. Therefore you want to think about the image you wish to achieve before you select them.
