You can impress your friends and be the envy of others on the road. You can also go for something less sporty and more luxurious if you want to impress a date and ride in comfort.

Driving restrictions are also generally different than regular rental cars. You probably won?t be able to take it out of the state and there will most likely be a mileage restriction. Some won?t rent to customers under a certain age; usually 25 or older.

Many of the domestic car rental chains such as Avis and Hertz have specialty cars in large cities. While it won?t be a Hummer or Porsche, it will be a luxury or sports car. It won?t turn as many heads but you?ll be able to save some cash for the rest of your trip and still have a nice car.
